A magnificent set of antlers

This is one of the Giant Lanterns which will form part of the Lost Worlds display in Edinburgh Zoo.  When Lorna and I go to the completed display at the beginning of December it will be dark and all the exhibits will have the most wonderful lighting.

We don't usually go to Edinburgh on a Sunday but our niece, Catriona, had invited us for lunch to view their new flat.  There was just time for a coffee and a wee wander round the zoo before catching the bus which would take us from Corstorphine to Dalkeith Road. A bit chilly for standing at a bus stop but better than driving around trying to find somewhere to park!
