Frailes - Jaen

Perhaps I have mentioned this book before, The Factory of Light by Michael Jacobs. I don't remember so.

 Anyway, I think it is a good book and it explains lots of things about Spanish transition to democracy and life in rural Andalusia.

I have brought the book to you in my blip because today we have been walking in the streets of this village, Frailes in the province of Jaen, where this book takes place.

Frailes is near Granada, and it is certainly worth a visit, if only because it is a  very well looked after village and because they gave the name 'Michael Jacobs' to their 'Casa de la Cultura'.
