Remembance

My husband was given this portrait when a Great Aunt's house was cleared out following her death. No one in the family knows his name. We sometimes wonder if he returned from the First World war. He looks handsome! ... It was a brighter day today and we visited a friend in a Nursing Home. Sadly she is in the advanced stages of Dementia. However!!! For the the first time in months she recognised me and called me by my name.. On the way home I seem to have bought new dining room curtains!!
