We Will Remember Them
Wear your poppy with pride. I made the mistake of watching the service of remembrance from London. As usual I was watching with tears streaming down my face. Remembrance week end were the most important days of the year for my Dad, as he remembered all the men he had served with who never returned . When he was really ill my younger daughter and I sat and watched the programme from the Royal Albert Hall on the Saturday night, before we then helped to put him to bed. It was the last weekend before he was taken into hospital, where he died. It is the playing of the Last Post on the bugle that does for me every time.
This blip is for my Dad
