Imperial Shawl
We took Kathy and John Chantler to Jenolan Caves today. The weather was pretty good and the cold wind of yesterday had calmed down quite a lot. Down here, under ground of course it was a steady 15 degrees.
We visited the Imperial Cave, one of the earliest cave tours to be set up with electrical lighting - way back in the late 1880s - fully 13 years, it seems, before such a thing came to Sydney streets.
I have been to Jenolan countless times and never tire of the place. I have toured this particular cave at least four times but on each occasion I find something new to photograph. See the extras.
Special excursions over for the moment. Back to normal from tomorrow and a return to moody monos and film noir style images.
