Road Side Teddy

This teddy is on the A690 which runs from Durham to Sunderland.
I pass it quite often with my job. I wonder why he's there. There's no note or flowers. He's just taped to the lamppost in the middle of the duel carriageway.

He's been there quite a while although I'm not sure how long. I suppose it's better that being in some kids bedroom never being played with. Well unless it's raining.
