My Cactus Buds

I've been involved with this cactus for 36 years now.
In 1993 my office partner gave me a cactus bud about the size of my pinkie finger tip saying, "I have a black thumb... you better take care of this little guy."
It grew nicely for me as my office "pet" and retired with me in 2012.
The main part of the plant began to fail in 2017, so I repotted and pruned successfully making a new arrangement of the original plant.
These two are off on their own to begin a life for themselves.
They are about 2.75 inches (7cm) tall and happily ensconced in a 4 inch (11mm) pot.
I brought them in for the winter.
