The best of times - The worst of times

A successful start to the day with car, drivers and crew prepped and ready to go, first stint went to plan and my objective of getting a pitstop completed this year was achieved.

In torrential rain the Clio was 2nd fastest on track and climbing up the order. Unfortunately a loss of control under braking led to a hefty collision, broken collar bone for the driver and our little car was too damaged to continue.

Makes me realise how incredibly lucky I was with my earlier Motorsport experiences. That said, it's been a privilege to work with a great team and once more feel the cameraderie that can only be found in a pit lane.
