Peter Knight's Gigspanner

This evening we went to Wotton "Under the Edge Arts" for a Gigspanner gig. Peter Knight, who headlines the trio (sometimes a five piece) was the fiddle player for Steeleye Span for the longest time.

It was an amazing and wonderful gig, and all three of the musicians excelled. Roger Flack on guitar kept rhythm with the intricate and complicated work of Sasha Trochet on djembe and assorted noisy things, and occasionally beat the hell out of Peter's violin - even as he was playing it (extra)

Up early tomorrow (for me) to set up the PA etc for tomorrow's Remembrance, before donning the unaccustomed suit for the thing itself. I believe we've done everything we can to have a dry morning (pretty please).
