Shopping

We went out for breakfast today. My colleague who has moved into our village recently told me that a cafe we had not tried before did a lovelY breakfast and she was right! The car wash is next door, so I took the opportunity to get it cleaned and then straight to town where I bought the first Christmas present! I really do need to get going with the rest! 

Back home I baked a banana loaf to use up the fruit that ‘gone over’. Prior to a few weeks ago I hadn’t baked for years, although I did use to do a fair bit when the children were young.  I am enjoying picking it up again, and am now trying to decide whether to buy a food processor or food mixer, having thrown the old processor away when we moved. It definitely isn’t helpful for a diet though!

The photo is from the walk with Dog on the beach, but it was very cold! The extra of Mr L climbing back up the shingle dune demonstrates that better haha!
