The dropped stitch

Old school

Enjoyed a morning working in Inverness.
Sunny and bright though a definite nip in the air.

In a residential area I was interested to spot this corrugated iron building. Once home I could read up on its history. Built in the early 1900s, it was used as a school before the current Inverness High School, just a few steps up the road, was completed in 1930.

Timber frame, clad in corrugated iron on a poured concrete base.
