Kelpies

Travelling with our USA friends for a couple of days, starting with a quick look at the bridges at South Queensferry then to the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel (which was not revolving as under maintenance, though the cafe was good) a drive along Loch Lomond to our first overnight stop at North Connel.
The day began cold and frosty but remained clear with autumn colours still in evidence, in contrast to the earlier forecast of heavy rain, which, sadly, has hit the North English Midlands.
