Fisherman Sculpture

More playing around with Snapseed (I obviously have too much time on my hands) This is a sculpture, high up on a plinth on the main promenade, dedicated to all the fishermen on the Mediterranean... unable to find out any more about it.
Had my usual stroll and finished the Ian McEwan book, an interesting theme, but not one of my favourites...am now starting "Another World" by Pat Barker. Did some shopping and was delighted to discover a Spanish "Vienetta" twice the size of the English original....not complaining, it tastes exactly the same!
Saw the news last night for the first time this week, horrified to see all the flooding that's occurred, and there are bush fires in NSW Australia.... really sorry for everyone affected.
