Busy day!

My tactic, when dealing with a cold, is as far as possible, ignore it! Until I can't ignore it any longer. So that is why, when we got back from Tesco's, I started in to make the Christmas cake and pudding. There are 3 puddings, and the cake is in the oven. If you're wondering why 3 puddings when there is just 2 of us for Christmas, it's because I seriously underestimated the recipe for the pudding. The recipe didn't actually say 'this makes 1 humongous pudding or 3 regular sized pudding'. So that is why I have 1 small pudding steaming on the hob, 1 regular sized in the slow cooker and one waiting its' turn for the slow cooker. Its turn will come overnight. The kitchen smells great - I hope! I have such a head cold that I can't smell anything!
