Mr Henderson's Railway Walk

Benoaján to Jimera de Libar. A pleasant 2.5 hour walk in the valley that follows the train track and the river Guadiaro. Most people start the walk from Benoaján and catch the train back. Although there are not that many trains. Maybe 3 a day so you need to check the timetable.

There is a great bar near the station at Jimera de Libar, Bar Alioli. If you are lucky you might catch some live music on the square. The food is great value and a large selection of beers. A bar good enough for the prime minister. A picture of David Cameron stood outside the bar after completing the walk can be found inside.

The afternoon was spent at the local feria in Benoaján. Plenty of chorizo and cheese to choose from. All washed down with beer obviously!
