Creels on the slip

A day of baking for the Garden Club AGM and Christmas Social this evening.  It's a cunning way of getting folk to come to the AGM - throw in plenty of food!  In previous years there has been mulled wine but in order to keep us safe on the icy roads, this year we were presented with hot chocolate, with tiny marshmallows floating in it. There were mutterings of discontent in the ranks!

The frost and ice were a bit of a surprise as I left the house at 7 o'clock.  Luckily I was getting a lift so no de-icing of windows was required but we'll have to get the spray and scraper looked out.  Am I the only one hoping for snow?

The creels have no significance, other than they are right outside the house so an easy emergency blip!
