The Church of St.Michaels

This is the Crowning glory of the church of St.Michaels in Linlithgow. It sits snuggly beside the ruin of the Palace and most people think the Spire is part of the Palace, but in reality it isn't. The Palace is very important in Scottish history, being the birth place of Mary Queen of Scots, but there is a lot more to it.

Today, my day off, I headed back down south to see the parents and did a bit more of the housework that they can't really manage. I don't mind doing a quick swish round and they get to see their favourite daughter. Even if I do manage to annoy the heck out of them occaisionally, they're stuck with me.

Back home I managed to rustle up a pretty tasty pot of Minestrone soup, even if I do say so myself.

It's a hard life, but not for me.
