An apple a day. . .
This bowl full of beautiful Opal Apples was lit up by something we haven't seen much of lately in the Pacific Northwest - sunshine! Apples are Washington state's BIG crop, and these beauties are my favorites (next to Galas) with their sweet, juicy, crunchy texture.
I was drawn by the balance of light and dark in this photo. It almost feels, to me, as if I caught these apples in a very private moment as they were lazing in their fruit bowl, fat, plump, sweet, and so sensuous.
