This window pane in the stairwell wasn’t missing before my field trip, but it made for an interesting angle.

I hoiked ringbinders and stationery to a new office space, an upgraded version of the last in a small private room with my own key and shelving unit. A good place for welcoming team members, hopefully imminently. Michelle left to travel back to the UK, although not before we’d squeezed in a final strong cup of coffee and a pastel de nata. It was imperative that she left with the taste of Maputo on her lips. She’s been an amazeballs travelling companion and colleague and here’s to more trips she can be enticed to do to Mozambique next year.

An afternoon of emails, whilst luxuriating in the new office space. Pizza on the way home, and the realisation that I’ve adopted the spicy way of dining.
