Handsome horse

When I was walking towards this guy I thought he must be so neglected because his mane was all matted but it was quite the opposite! It was lovingly braided and he smiled at me! Will have to take some apples tomorrow. A change of route today as our favourite hill is overrun with coyotes at the moment and Angus refuses to go up there... he seems to know that he'd be an easy lunch or I like to think he wants to protect me!
