new life

I love this plant, it sprouts from the bank outside my back door and has the most gorgeous orange flowers around the end of march. Mr DC decided about this time last year to cut everything back!!! hence no orange flowers - he didn't know i was waiting for it!! this year he knows better! and it looks beautiful against the green background on the hedges......watch this space

a good monday anyway son no 2 'wrote' his birthday invites, he's going to be 4
not a baby anymore (well only to me!) its been freezing and i can't seem to get warm at all so i'm thinking a warm drink and to a warm bed with a good book!!! (ha, Mr Dc is out for the evening!!) bliss
