Live Music at the Station

Elizabeth Station, that is -- one of my favorite watering holes. If I'd didn't live so far away (5 miles) I'd call it my local. It's the closest thing I know to a British pub in terms of ambience.

We stopped there on the way home after shooting a few photos of the volunteers who staff the severe weather shelter -- a place for the homeless to sleep during very cold weather. See Cynthia's blip for more on this.

We came home with heightened awareness of the warmth and comfort of our home -- and thankfulness for it.
