Glowing

A productive day once we got going - seems that I failed to set the alarm clock last night, and we both slept through the radio alarm! Never mind, a couple of cups of strong coffee later, we leapt in to action.

After sorting out some admin., I touched up the paint in the fireplace in the living room. Not a pleasant task, as the paint fumes are horrible. Decidedly chilly, too, as I opened the windows in an attempt to clear the air a bit.

Did 10km on the exercise bike this afternoon, the first time I've managed that 'far' in one go. Much easier to keep going whilst watching/listening to something interesting on the i-Pad! Today it was the second half of a documentary about Philip Pullman. Then a quick trip to the surgery for something that will hopefully prove to be nothing much - the joys of ageing, eh?! On the way home, spotted this lovely ornamental rowan tree in the car park. It's laden with pink berries, which seemed to glow in the light of a streetlamp.

Lots to do tomorrow - maybe an early night is in order?!
