End of Season Review

Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse closed to visitors on 29th October and will reopen again in April 2020.

Today the Volunteers and NTS staff members met to review the visitor season and to consider the work to be carried out during the closed period in preparation for next year.

The year has been successful and we can all look forward to next year with optimism.

Topics covered include the gardens and grounds, Kingarrock Golf Course, the creation of a sensory garden, conservation cleaning etc, etc.

The programme of special events is bigger than this year with particular emphasis on the music programme.

The golf course has been particularly successful and advance bookings are up.

The volunteer team received very high praise for the way in which they present the property and collection to visitors.

They will meet to review all of the historical information that has been gathered over the current year, and will consider any changes or additions to the narrative.
