What a difference a day makes!

Mid-morning, when I took this shot looking into the Arboretum from the opposite pavement it was beautifully bright and sunny - if very chilly! Totally different from yesterday when, if it stopped raining at all I didn't notice it.

I've been out to do the Friday shop, a little later than normal. If I get up early  (like 6 AM!) for any reason, then go back to bed I always wake up later than intended! As well as the usual Friday fare, I also treated myself to a ridiculously expensive Advent Calendar from Hotel Chocolat and a bargain woolly hat with polar bears on from the "posh" charity shop!

Work last night was quiet due at least in part to the weather I'd imagine. I wonder what tonight has in store. It's not sunny any more and is once again looking rather grey - a lighter shade than yesterday, at least for now!
