end of the day

After shopping at the smiggle shop looking for Rubys birthday present this morning (Ruby turns 8 this weekend) we wasn't surprised to see the Christmas hum everywhere, it starts earlier every year, thank goodness we were out of there and was soon home in time for lunch. Quite a warm day 30c, very windy, a strong Easterly blew for most of the day, those desert winds are not very kind at all. 
Glyn went to collect Jaxon from school this afternoon, he had been working on the car in the garage most of the afternoon, he thought Jaxon would enjoy coming home for school on the back of his motor bike, what 16 year old wouldn't like a ride on a 600cc motor bike in front of his mates? :-))  that wet down very well, Jaxon hopes to get a moped of his own by Christmas, another story.
It was good catching up with Jaxon and his news, he works after school 3 days a week he also goes to his boxing and Gym in between, he leads a ever busy life these days, he has a 'girlfriend' friend now too who we feel we know as he talks a lot about her, we will meet her one of these days I'm sure. 
No blips of our camera shy teen but i managed to catch the sunset marking another end of the working week.
Looking forward to seeing the Birthday Girl tomorrow, anther day dawns.
