Sunbathing
It was a dazzling evening out on Cape Saunders. The weather was perfect, the people lovely and the wildlife everywhere.
We saw albatross flying, sea lions, fur seals, blue penguins, yellow-eyed penguins and more. It was difficult to choose a photo, but I just can't get over these funny birds.
This one, is part of a mating pair I've photographed before. They often can be found in the same spot every day - right in the middle of the pasture trail to the beach. They like the grass and use it to dry off and sleep on every night. So we walk around them, giving them their space as they sunbathe. They don't seem to mind too much...
