Þrettándinn - Twelfth Night
In Iceland the last day of the Christmas season is on January 6th.
And what better way to celebrate than with even more bonfires and fireworks after we've finally managed to calm down after the madness we have here in Iceland every New Years?
And it's even better if we take out the Christmas tree and throw it on the bonfire too!
This man was doing just that, like so many other before him (and I saw many other later on). This is Reykjavík today.
