Sugar beet Thursday.

A lorry in first thing with 18 tons of beet pulp. This is an animal feed made from what’s left after the sugar has been removed from sugar beet. This load comes from the factory in Lincolnshire I think. We use it in the home mix for sheep and calves.
Another lorry in this afternoon to collect 3 cattle heading for Whitley Bay.
Wet , cold and miserable tonight. Both me and the weather !
