I have a soft spot for those old-fashioned style menus here in Barcelona and for those little old cafes too.

Breakfast duty for new guests and sent them off to walk into the centre to visit Casa Batllo, one of the Gaudi buildings. Saw a man about a curtain rod. Not much going on in Aptis today so took the chance to go through and throw out more books and started to tidy up the top drawer in our hall, but got distracted. It's where we keep keys, bags of foreign coins and loose Spanish change and all other bits and bobs. It was the loose Spanish change that distracted me, but that story's for another day.
