Tired

Noah proudly showed me his Lego haunted house when I got in tonight. He's been building non-stop since it arrived and did a great job. He especially likes the glow in the dark ghosts, sadly it's beyond my skills to photograph them whilst glowing. We lit this shot (badly) using 2 tea lights and a torch to give a bit more atmosphere than the flash or living room light could afford us. Noah arranged the scene, it's supposed to be a wedding, the ghosts are the bridesmaids apparently.

So glad it's Friday! Came home to another lovely meal cooked by Carlos, the 4th this week. That was the upside to him being off, the downside us the fact that I waken up every night when he eventually comes to bed and I'm already exhausted.

It was a busy week and its been quite tough. One of our former pupils died unexpectedly on the 19th of December, 6 days before his 6th birthday. His mum came in to see us today and it was so hard to know what to say to her. He will always be in our thoughts.
