About 4 years ago I started looking into meditation and after exploring the headspace app for around a year I ended up going on different courses on mindfulness and meditation.
When I arrive at work in the morning the first thing I do is go with Bertie for a walk through the woods in the field behind the salon. Once I’m back and inside I switch on the small lamps in the salon and sit on the sofa and do a 20 (ish) minute guided meditation....my favourite app now is Insight Timer.....I love my ‘me time’ first thing in the morning before anyone is around and meditation has become a part of my life that I couldn’t do without.
