A mash up of the inspirational message in the lift at the hotel and the scene I saw in the conference centre when I arrived at Kings Hall.

A fascinating day, learned a lot. Loved the case study from the Norwegian Sovereign Fund in particular, what could have been if Maggie Thatch hadn’t drained away all the North Sea oil money.

Thankfully, I managed to jump on one of the few trains home that hadn’t been cancelled due to issues with electric cables. As it was one of the few leaving London it’s standing room only. At least it’s running me back to Edinburgh but it’s terminating there which leaves the guys going further north with a few challenges.
