Colin cried off on coming to the shoe shop in Barlestone but I was amply satisfied with my brand new walking boots from Germany. Isobel stretched the right shoe on that pair and on my black boots and shoes to accommodate my bunion. All feel very comfortable now.

Isobel has a contraption that looks  like a pair of large tongs with a ballhead at one end which she presses into the leather. You can't find them in the shops these days.

Len asked about tennis trainers. She recommended Skechers!
