Thwarted again

This is a run- off from the field, behind me I have negotiated thick mud - choices, choices. I couldn't go through this water so back through mud hoping I didn't fall in it, my feet were already wet. I was desperate to get out, the sun was shining and I had recovered a little from yesterday when I felt very rough, only a cold but I could not get warm even in bed.
I now have very wet and muddy trainers also muddy trousers, definitely giving the fields a miss especially as more rain is forecast. I could put on wellies but then would look like a dog walker!
