Avoiding The Mud

It was a much nicer day than expected for our U3A walk, though pretty muddy in places. I asked the barman at the pub if they had something soft to eat on the lunch menu, as I have to be careful with two stitches in my mouth from yesterday. Ham egg and chips? he suggested. OK I replied, and very nice it was too.
