A moment to catch up

Horrendously busy day in the West End.

The most extreme moment today was when I saw a guy laying on the road near Charing Cross being attended by Police and Ambulance people. It looked like a traffic accident, car or bike (most likely bike as cars can't reach more than two miles an hour on this road). He was occupying the whole of the south bound lane.

Then a group of motorcycle outriders arrived escorting a dignitary of some sort from Westminster or St James's Palace. They squeezed past the casualty in the road and headed north, Police yelling at bemused pedestrians.

A couple of hours later and only a few yards from where I took this picture, the ceiling collapsed in a theatre during ‘Death of a Salesman ‘. A few injured, no one killed fortunately.
