Past and future

Went for a coffee and cardamon bun with VickyG this morning - nice to have a natter about various musical chair moves going on around the art and education world and what art writing means - then into work for a series of useful meetings. Some soup and catch up emails before over to the library to run a committee. We started with a show and tell of a new digital wall (here showing an image from the research collection of Edinburgh many centuries ago) and of the maker space which was full of the most amazing tech and students creating weird and wonderful things with it (3D printers going like crazy, VR and AR kit and someone working out how to 'walk in and around' some physics model that is too abstract to explain otherwise (I know - not a clue what that was about!). All very mind boggling but exciting.
Committee meeting went fine...have it under control now I think!
Home via post office to send AR and Mx the clothes I bought for them in Canada and forgot to take this weekend, whilst chatting to TG and CB separately on the phone as catch ups.
Made more progress on boxes when I got in...hard to summon the energy to attack them but once I'm into it it's a good feeling....and finalised my sofa order. Nearly there!
Cold isn't too bad - may have nipped it in the bud
