NOT very observant?

It took me most of my life to discover the simple fact that:- "Rhipsalidopsis" both existed and was not just another Schumberera.
I'm not even sure I'd noticed just how much different their flowers were in format.
NOW I find the rhipsalidopsis has, apparently, set seed. I wonder if it'll refuse to flower until either they're ripe & come of, or I remove them?
