Bonus

Another bonus day off with Gorgeous.

First off, the vet came out to stab the horses with equine flu vaccinations then we went another lovely ride in good weather. 

Dogs at Skaill. Been a while since we were last there and the dogs enjoyed giving it all a thorough explore. I've added an extra of a weathered post on our walkies. 

Later a trip down the barriers to collect our new truck as the sun set. This has been a very good week :)

Jeepers has given me some really nice transitions from trot to canter this week, very smooth and collected. We've also popped some lovely jumps and he's improving slowly barefoot on stony ground. I feel like some progress has been made... Not that there's a hurry. He will be a happy hacker this winter, we'll get to know eachother well and have fun. He can ease into his new life and relax before I ask any more of him next year...

He is an amazing boy in so many ways already.
