Hachikō

Look! I treated myself to one of these gorgeous Hachikō biscuits from Japan today after work.

Hachikō was an Akita dog, who came to Shibuya Station every day to meet his master, a professor, returning from work. After the professor died in 1925, Hachikō continued to come to the station daily until his own death nearly 10 years later. I got to see his statue, when I was in Japan about a month ago and one of the lovely dog handlers, that I got to work with, when I was there, gave me this box of 4 biscuits to bring home. I had the first one today and they were so nice.

A busy morning at work and then a much more relaxed and fun afternoon. We had our halloween event today and it was brilliant. We performed a scary play for all of the staff. I played an easy role - I just had a be dead :-D

No training today - which gave a bit more time for our walk. We all enjoyed be able to walk a bit longer before it was dark.

See you tomorrow
