I went to Tullie House Museum where there are two exhibitions on at the moment. I thought that I’d prefer the one about Turner’s “Northern Exposure” - the trips he took to the north of England which inspired his landscape painting. But oh! the etchings of Rembrandt next door were so exquisite, so detailed and so full of humanity and feeling that I enjoyed that exhibition much more.

Of course I also had to visit John Watt to stock up on tea and coffee before catching the train home.
