Walks

I started my Blurb book of our Iran trip this morning and got so engrossed I had to rush to get to the hairdressers where I was picking up Linda’s 94 year old mother to drive her to her house. (Linda had to drive Colin to the train and her mum can’t walk far). I thought she looked nice but she wasn’t pleased - she said the ‘apprentice’ had done it - she’s not an apprentice but Linda’s mum says she may as well be!

Ailie called this afternoon so we walked through the woods to the moor. Some men were cutting branches off some trees in a garden near the public footpath. There was no warning and though a man saw us coming he didn’t tell us to stay back - a branch just missed us - the man who had cut it was hidden from our view.

We got back just before it got dark at 4.30pm.
