Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2019 Monday — The Seashore

After going to the community of Los Osos/Baywood Park to the Farmers Market and then the grocery store, we brought the food home and put away everything quickly and then headed for the Cayucos shoreline.

Even though our black pup Max is now completely blind, he still loves going for a walk, and especially on the sand.

Then we made a quick stop at the library. Our San Luis Obispo Library system, which covers a huge area, loans T-Mobile “hotspots” to its patrons, and since we have chosen not to pay for Internet service and just use the 4G that’s on our iPhones, we must use a hotspot to connect our laptops to the Internet. Our iPhones have hotspots and we use those most of the time, but when we can borrow a hotspot from the library, we do. So we are always on a waitlist and then it’s our turn and we get a hotspot for 1 week at a time. Because there are two of us and we both get on the waitlist, we’re hoping to have a hotspot for the week of Thanksgiving and again at Christmas time.

After we got back to the house, the fog rolled in so there was no visible sunset this evening.

I am off work on medical leave at the moment and this week I have no medical appointments, so we selected to spend the week on the Central Coast at our place in Cayucos.

Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol

P.S. Dinner was some of Stephanie’s delicious — Tandoori Chick Pea and Potato — soup.
