Had not factored the ‘new clothes’ element of my mums impending 90th birthday. S and I shopped and failed to find the right thing and had lunch instead. Much easier to shop for C who wasn’t with us, but I have yet to see if she agrees with this. Mum thinks she needs a new coat for the church service.
