Damn!

It is well known in our household that, for Miss Flum and I, door handles reach out and grab us as we go past. Indeed, I can thread a buttonhole onto a doorhandle without even trying.

So it wasn't exactly surprising, though extremely annoying, when the closed pocket of a gilet caught and opened up the stitching.

But, what is worse, before I could sew it up, the resulting hole caught and has torn the fabric down to the hem.

I would mind less if it hadn't been less than a week old.
