St Mary's Church

Damp and cold, we went visiting friends this afternoon, having a great catch up. Doug popped into the library on the way home, while he was in there I snapped off this church which is over the road for Bobsblips Wide Wednesday "man made".
St Mary's is an Anglican Church, situated in the centre of Timaru.  It took 28 years to complete as the parishioners could afford it, opening in 1909.
After the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes it was closed, and repairs and improvements were done at a cost of over one million dollars.  It was reopened in 2015.
