Lighting the scene

I watched the light this afternoon as shafts of sunlight slowly lit up the hills.  A day of sun, showers and cloud.  Sun as we headed into town to get our photos taken again, so a detour to Darts Farm to pick up a few holiday items.  By then the sun had disappeared so we headed back to the photographic shop for our passport photos.  Its only a small shop and the sun streams through the glass doorway but all was well today, task accomplished.  I also managed to venture down to the allotment and dispose of some of the caterpillars still appearing on the sprouting broccoli and pick some spinach.  My backs not yet up to any heavy duty digging and general clearing up of the area though.
