THE KARLSAUE IN KASSEL

We had decided to go today to Kassel, but when the alarmclock went off, I heard it rain softly. We stood up anyway and hoped that the weather would change for the better.
We entered the bus and descended at Hofgeismar, where we took the lightrail which brought us right in the centre of Kassel.
We visited P&C and CNA and were satisfied what we could buy there.
Then we had lunch and after that we walked down the hill to the Friedrichsplatz and further to the Orangerie at the Karlswiese.
The sun had shown its shiny face and we sat for a while on a bench and enoyed the sight of the park. Then we walked to the river Fulda, not far from there. Crossed the Drahtbrücke and followed our walk at the other side of the river. Crossed the river again and walked to the Church of St, Martin and went inside for a view.
We looked into some other shops and then it was time to catch the lightrail again and the bus back home.
We found it a nice trip.
