Miller Bridge, River Kent, Kendal. Cumbria.
Paul and me drove to our caravan at White Cross Bay and then on to Kendal for some lunch. The Autumn trees are looking fantastic, with plenty of gold and yellow leaves on the birch and beech trees.
The Garden cafe is now Vegan and very good food they serve there too. Pleasant and friendly husband and wife. Low background music. Our favourite corner was vacant so we enjoyed a quick game of Quiddler before our order was served. It is right beside where the Quaker Tapestry is housed. Well worth a visit.
Then a lovely stroll along the river Kent. This photo is of the River Kent.
Glorious sunshine but cold.
Paul bought two smart checked shirts from the market, from some birthday money, and treated me to a lined pom pom wool hat. I love to wear it. We drove home through Ingleton, where the countryside is immensely beautiful.
Thanks for recent kind comments and enjoy 5th November but stay safe.Take care of all the dear animals.
We have Arthur indoors, we do not do fireworks, but the neighbourhood fireworks, loud bangs and whizzes are going off, since 5pm.
